So... I recently finished playing a game called
The Beginners Guide. It was written by Davey Wreden, the same guy who wrote the
Stanley Parable... Let me ask, have any of you ever witnessed a story that you could relate to so much that it made you feel like a completely different person by the end of it? I'm asking this because... the ending... just hit me hard. The entire narrative of the game in general just completely changed my perspective on storytelling. It made me reflect on why I wanted to write stories. It's one of the few stories that actually made me actively cry. If anyone's interested, here's a link:
